James Arthur Adie (b. 19 September 1875, Delting, d. 4 May 1948, Edinburgh) was a merchant and a County Councillor for Delting South between 1903 and 1907. His father, William Adie had resigned from the seat in February 1903, and James was appointed in April.
He unsuccessfully contested the Delting South seat in the 1907 County Council election.
