George Tait

George Reid Tait (b. 1829, Lerwick, d. 7 July 1889, Lerwick) was a draper, shipping agent and Lerwick Town Councillor between 1856 and 1862, and again between 1874 and 1876, with the final 3 years as the junior baillie.
He was the father of Lerwick councillor Edwyn Tait.
