William Albert Cumming (b. 16 October 1920, Hamnavoe, Burra, d. 28 December 2004, Lerwick) was a builder, County Councillor and Shetland Islands Councillor.

He unsuccessfully contested the Burra & Trondra seat at the 1978 and the 1990 Shetland Islands Council election.
