'''Alexander Irvine 'AI' Tulloch''' (b. 16 December 1904, [[Lerwick]], d. 3 May 1986, [[Lerwick]]) was the proprietor of Tulloch's of Shetland, a hosiery and knitwear shop in Lerwick, also owner of Linkshouse Stores in Mid Yell and a [[County Councillor]] for [[Sandsting (Constituency)|Sandsting]]  between 1955 and 1974. When, in 1974 the County Council reformed as the [[Shetland Islands Council]], Tulloch represented [[Aithsting And Sandsting (Constituency)|Aithsting And Sandsting]] until his death, one day before the [[1986]] SIC election.

He is said to have begun every morning with a swim in the sea, even in his later years.

He unsuccessfully contested the [[Lerwick Town Council Election November 1934|1934 Lerwick Town Council election]].
