Joseph Laurence Linklater (b. 5 April 1909, Lerwick, d. 8 April 1993, Tauranga, New Zealand) was a Lerwick Town Councillor.
Biography
In WWII, Joseph served in the Royal Army Service Corps, enlisting 26 Jan 1939. His enlistment papers describe him as an Electrician. He was discharged from 5 Apr 1954.
Joseph emigrated to New Zealand on s.s. Southern Cross which left Southampton on 6th March 1956, arriving in Wellington on 9th April 1956.
