John Robertson Irvine (b. 10 October 1873, Lerwick, d. 25 April 1945, Dunrossness) was a County Councillor for Dunrossness South from June 1919 until December 1919, and 1925 to 1931.

He failed to get re-elected at the 1919 County Council election, but was elected to serve the Dunrossness North constituency from 1925 until he resigned in 1931.
