William MacDougall (b. 1856, Melrose, Roxburghshire, d. 1931) was an Agent for the Commercial Bank Lerwick Town Councillor from 1910 until he resigned in April 1912.

Biography

William arrived in Shetland in 1907, succeeding Charles Laurenson who had been appointed Agent at the Chief Office in Greenock. William was in post until 1920.

In the early 1900's he was the Chair of the Eyemouth Parish Council.
