James Williamson Tait (b. 27 November 1922, Sandwick, d. 29 April 2011, Edinburgh) was a Lerwick Town Councillor from 1952 to 1958.

Biography

In the late 1940s, James was the Secretary of the Shetland Labour Party.

James moved to Edinburgh in later life. In August 2002, he was a proposer for Labour candidate Norman Bonney the Balerno ward of the Edinburgh City Council.
