Thomas Gilbertson (b. 1 October 1793, Geosetter, Dunrossness, d. 27 January 1868, Lerwick) was a tailor, clothier and Lerwick Town Councillor first between 1850 and 1853, then again between 1862 and 1865. His youngest son, Robert Gilbertson, was the founder of Gilbertson Park.
He owned property at 101 Commercial Street and Gilbertson's Court.
