David Murray (b. 16 April 1880, Wadbister, Tingwall, d. 19 March 1961, Braeview, Brae) was a joiner and Lerwick Town Councillor between 1921 and 1926. He was unsuccessful in 1920 and again in 1926

He unsuccessfully contested the 1920 and the 1926 Lerwick Town Council election.

Biography

After retiring from his Lerwick business in 1947, David settled in Brae where he was commissioned to create communion furnishings for the church.
