David Gray (b. 22 August 1888, West Yell, d. 4 March 1946, Lerwick) was an Estate Factor, purser on the Earl of Zetland and Lerwick Town Councillor from 1945 until his death in 1946.
Biography
David entered the services of the North of Scotland Company and after some time became purser on the Earl of Zetland II.
When health prevented his continued work on the Earl of Zetland, he took up duties as the factor of the Garth Estate.
He was noted as a keen swimmer, and was a judge for the Lerwick Swimming Club.
