Leonard Groat

Leonard George Groat (b. 9 April 1937, St. Sunniva Street, Lerwick) is a former Shetland Islands Councillor who represented the Lerwick North constituency, initially from 1982 to 1999, then again from 2003 to 2007 having been unsuccessful at the 1999 election.
He unsuccessfully contested the Lerwick North & Lerwick North Central seats at the 1999 Shetland Islands Council election.
