John Charles Butler (b. 1 November 1925, Walney Island, Cumbria, d. 12 May 1984, Lerwick) was a customs officer, Lerwick Town Councillor between 1971 to 1975, and a Shetland Islands Councillor for Lerwick Breiwick between 1974 and 1982.
He unsuccessfully contested the 1970 Lerwick Town Council election.
