Tingwall County Council By-Election August 1950

The 1950 Tingwall County Council By-Election took place on 1 August. A minor seat merry-go-round occured when George Ross resigned from this seat, causing George K. Spence to leave his Yell South seat in order to take up the vacant Tingwall position, and John Williamson taking the then-vacant Yell South seat.
