Reverend David Gray (b. 1843, Kirkcaldy, d. 29 May 1901, Burra) was the United Free Church Reverend for Burra and a County Councillor for the same constituency first from 1890 to 1892 then again from 1893 to 1898

He was ordained on 12 June 1884 and served the Burra United Free Church until his death.

He studied divinity at the University of Edinburgh, was a writer and prior to his arrival in Shetland was missionary in Maryhill, Glasgow. He arrived in Shetland around 1885.
