The constituency of Delting only ever saw one election. Since 1890, constituents of Delting had fallen under Delting North or Delting South but due to the Local Government (Scotland) Act of 1973, the Delting was made a single constituency. However in the following election, 1978, it was again divided into Delting North and Delting South.
