Robert Strachan (b. 1926, Peterhead, d. 15 February 1997, Aberdeen) was a Post Office Engineer, a County Councillor for Burra and a Lerwick Town Councillor between 1959 and 1962.

He unsuccessfully contested the 1953 and the 1961 Lerwick Town Council election.
