Zachary Macaulay Hamilton (b. 3 April 1855, Bressay, d. 23 December 1905, Unst), son of the Reverend Zachary, was a County Councillor for Yell North from 1890 until his death in 1905.

His son, William was a County Councillor for Nesting between 1955 and 1973.

He withdrew from the running of the Unst South seat in the inaugural Zetland County Council election in 1890, but was elected to represent Yell North at the same election anyway.
