John James Goudie (b. 25 July 1874, Dunrossness, d. 2 December 1949, Dunrossness) was a County Councillor for Dunrossness North between 1934 and 1949.
Biography
He spent a short time in insurance work in Edinburgh after leaving school, before going to America as a school teacher, and later as a farmer with his brother Gilbert in South Dakota. He stayed in America for 16 years before returning back to Shetland to help his father run the family's Dunrossness farm.
