George Keith Spence (b. 15 September 1914, Reafirth, Yell, d. 12 October 1971, Scalloway) was a hotel proprietor and County Councillor, representing Yell South between 1949 and 1950, then Tingwall from 1950 until 1964.
Biography
George was the proprietor of the Scalloway Hotel, acquiring the re-opening the premises in August 1948 after its requisition for war time use in WWII. He remained the owner of the hotel until his death.
