Lewis Garriock

Lewis James Garriock (b. 2 June 1877, Dundee, d. 6 April 1938, Scalloway) was a County Councillor for Tingwall between 1909 and 1913.
In 1935, his wife, Selina, became the first ever female County Councillor elected in Shetland.
He was a distance relative of Sandsting County Councillor Simon Garriock (4th cousin twice removed) and his great uncle, James Greig, was a Lerwick Town Councillor.
He unsuccessfully contested the 1930 Sandsting County Council by-election.
