Henry Hunter

Captain Henry William Levie Hunter (b. 29 October 1886, Baltasound, Unst, d. 3 March 1974, Baltasound, Unst) was an estate factor and County Councillor from 1942 and 1949.
Biography
Henry served in both World Wars, the first in the Royal Air Force and as a 2nd Lieutenant and Major with the Gordon Highlanders in WWII. He was the Clerk of Works with Cubitts during the building of RAF Saxavord in the 1950's, which was completed around 1954-55, and was an early warning radar station during the Cold War.
He was also a Factor to Laurence Edmondston.
