- John Morrison, (1753-1821). wright, merchant, founder of Victoria Pier and a Lerwick Town Councillor from 1818 to 1820.
- John Elijah James Garriock Morrison (1877-1937), stonemason, builder and Lerwick Town Councillor first between 1919 and 1925, then again in 1932 until 1935. Father of Alexander Morrison.
