Robert Bruce Blance (b. 26 August 1889, Lerwick, d. 2 October 1963, Lerwick) was a Post Office clerk, telegraphist and a Lerwick Town Councillor between 1950 and 1962.

He unsuccessfully contested the 1949 and the 1950 Lerwick Town Council election.

Biography

Robert worked his entire career for the Post Office, rising to the level of assistant postmaster by the time he retired around the late 1940's.

He was a staunch Labour Party supporter, serving as Secretary and Treasurer of the local branch.
