Reverend Alexander William Groundwater (b. 30 April 1871, Scorradale, Orphir, Orkney, d. 17 January 1952, Coupar Angus, Blairgowrie) was a minister and a County Councillor for Walls from 1919 until his resignation in October 1921.

He unsuccessfully contested the Walls seat at the 1913 County Council election.
