Andrew Peterson

Andrew William 'Willie' Peterson (b. 19 December 1918, Lerwick, d. 16 September 2004, on board the M.V. Hrossey) was a plumber and County Councillor for Yell North between 1961 and 1962, then Delting North from 1963 to 1964.
Willie died on the Northlink's passenger vessel, the MV Hrossey. He was was returning from the Forres Bible Readings. He had been a member of the kirk throughout Scotland for over 60 years. He was in the fellowship of the Sound Gospel Hall. He unsuccessfully contested the 1963 Lerwick Town Council election and the Delting North seat at the 1964 County Council election.
