Simson Wallace

Reverend Simson Wallace (b. 2 April 1867, Scoonie, Fife, d. 13 November 1940, Pittenweem, Anstruther, Fife) was a minister and a County Councillor for Cunningsburgh between 1925 and 1927.
He first represented Eshaness United Free Church from 7 April 1897 until he was transferred to Longformacus in 1909. He was transferred back to Shetland from Longformacus and was ordained to the Cunningsburgh United Free Church on 2 February 1912, he transferred out of Shetland to Botriphnie & Cairnie on 2 Feb 1927, resigning from the County Council and causing a Cunningsburgh by-election. He died of heart failure in November, 1940.
He unsuccessfully contested the Northmavine South seat in the 1901 County Council Election.
