David Walker

David Andrew Walker (b. 29 January 1916, d. June 2006, Lancashire) was a Church of Scotland Missionary and County Councillor for Northmavine South between 1949 and 1950.
Walker was married to Ruth Naomi Robinson (28 Feb 1942) and had 3 children, Paul, Naomi and Miriam. While in Shetland they lived in the Burndale Manse in North Roe (which no longer exists) and Paul and Naomi briefly attended the North Roe Primary school until the whole family left Shetland in September 1950. David later returned in 1982 to preach in the Brae kirk.
