Hamish Brydone

Reverend Hamish Alistair Stewart Brydone (b. 10 July 1917, Kenmore, Perth, d. 30 October 1979, Glasgow) was a minister and County Councillor for Northmavine North between 1955 and 1964

He served the Parish of Northmavine for the Church of Scotland from 1951 until resigning in 1970 to take up the position of Assistant Clerk of the Presbytery of Glasgow on August 31. At the time of his resignation in 1970, he was the longest-serving Church of Scotland Minister, with his service including Banffshire, New Zealand and Shetland.
