The 1913 Lerwick Town Council Election occurred on Tuesday 4 November.
Laurence Sandison and David Sutherland, the unsuccessful Socialist candidates were standing on a platform of pro-Sunday trading, while the the elected quartet Peter Goodlad, Laurence Laurenson, Andrew Smith and William Spence were anti-Sunday trading. The election was billed as pro vs anti Sunday trading.
