John Peter Sandison (b. 12 December 1858, Cullivoe, Yell, d. 4 March 1936, Uyeasound, Unst) son of Alexander Sandison was a County Councillor first for Yell North between 1907 and 1910 then for Unst South between 1910 and 1929.
His brother Thomas J. Sandison was also a councillor.
Biography
John had a lifelong connection to the agricultural sector in Shetland. He was a well known flockmaster throughout Shetland and in Scotland.
