For other people with the same name, see James Anderson
James Anderson (b. 29 December 1829, Kergord, Weisdale, d. 26 February 1907, Aithsting) was a stonemason, farmer and a County Councillor for Sandsting from 1890 until 1892.
Two of his sons, James and Thomas were also councillors.
Biography
On the Council, James advocated for improving the roads around Aith.
In 1904, tragedy struck his family after a boating accident off Vementry took the lives of his youngest son, John and his son in law & Vementry proprietor William Fraser, as well as another Aith boy Thomas Fraser (not related to William).
