The 1919 County Council Election occurred on Tuesday 2 December. The was the first CC election since 1913, and this is due to the First World War which took place from 1914-1919.
Interestingly William Sinclair stood for both Burra & Quarff and Whiteness & Weisdale seats and won both, but he chose to only represent Whiteness and Weisdale, causing a by-election in the Burra district.
